How to identify dry skin?

A thin, usually delicate skin type with small, hardly visible pores.

Your sebaceous glands are naturally less active and do not provide enough moisture retaining components.

Therefore, the skin easily loses its moisture through evaporation and expression lines develop relatively early into many fine wrinkles.

What is the right approach for treating dry skin?

1. Gentle exfoliation to accelerate skin renewal from within and expose better-moisturized layers.

2. Providing care products that support the skin's barrier function and reduce evaporation.

3. Supporting the skin with intensive, long lasting moisturizers and minimizing, as much as possible, the use of chemical emulsifiers in formulations designed for dry skin.

4.Keeping the skin protected from damaging environmental factors like: UV radiation, pollution, climate control and free radicals.

A delicate cream-gel, free from harsh detergents, is ideal as a daily cleanser for (tender) normal to dry skin. Gently dissolves makeup, is light in texture and becomes fluid on contact with the skin. This allows it to be easily wiped away, even without rinsing! (useful when traveling).

Contains Vitamin E, Rosemary oil and natural Lavender to refresh and purify the skin.

Directions: Apply an adequate quantity to the face. Massage lightly, then remove with tissue (either moist or dry). Alternatively, rinse off with water and dry with a soft face cloth.

For dry dehydrated skin

A softening mask for enriching mature dry skin. The Shea butter gently melts on the skin smoothing rough and dry areas. The Phytosterols enhance the moisture retention of the skin cells. The Chamomile extract together with rice starch soothe the skin leaving a velvety soft touch.

Directions: Spread a generous layer on the face and neck. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. It is not necessary to remove the mask from the skin. The remainder may be gently absorbed with a damp cloth.

Repeat once or twice a week, especially after sea bathing or prolonged sun exposure.
